Our Mission
Our mission within the parish is to work toward restoring respect for all human life from the moment of conception until natural death. To accomplish this task we intend to follow the guidance of our pastor and our bishop who has given us four areas of focus: Prayer, Education, Action, and Sacrifice.
Activities
We have organized a Life Tree to benefit area crisis pregnancy centers in January 2002. A bus has been reserved for parishioners who wish to attend the March for Life in January. We plan to a have monthly educational table set up after Masses where bumper stickers and Precious Feet will be available for a donation. A subcommittee called “Outreach” has recently been formed. Outreach is intended to serve anyone in the parish who may need help with meals or household services due to an illness, new baby, difficult pregnancy, or death in the family.
How can I help?
If you are interested in any of these activities, would like to give suggestions, or know of a parishioner in need, please contact Maureen Whalen, Pro-Life Group Coordinator, at (703) 669-4457.
