Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Religious Education Program! Posted online are Registration Forms for your children for the 2008-2009 school year for grades Pre-K through 12. The sooner you register, the better your chances are to have the session you want. Please print and mail or drop off your registration form at the Parish Office by July 15; registrations received after this date will incur a $20 late fee.

Registration Procedures

• RETURNING STUDENTS: Please use the registration forms that were mailed to you.
• NEW STUDENTS: A blank form is enclosed to register new students.

• Cell phone numbers and emails are required entries. There have been several instances when the parents of sick children could not be reached because cell numbers were unavailable. Email will be the primary means of communication throughout the year. Please note if you do not have email access.
• Starting this year, Baptismal Certificates will be placed in the parish family files for every child enrolled; if possible, enclose a copy of the Baptismal Certificate with the registration form, but do not delay applying for this reason. If necessary, register first, and turn the certificate in later.
• In the best interest of your child, please list any learning disabilities or behavioral disorders. Every effort will be made to assign children with special needs to the most experienced catechists, and to assign an extra aide in the class.
• Please note that the Pre-Kindergarten class only meets on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.
• Those who VOLUNTEER will get FIRST PRIORITY of day and time of class session. If interested, please complete the enclosed Religious Education Volunteer Form. If you have already completed a form, thank you!



•  Volunteer Information & Registration


• Registration is on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. Please note the lower grades fill up very quickly.
• REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fee remains the same, but a late fee of $20 will be charged if received after July 15th. Please make all checks payable to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
• $150 for one child
• $200 for two children
• $250 for three or more children
• Session Notification: You will be notified by mail of your child’s assigned class session by August 31.
• Religious Education Classes will begin Tuesday, September 9, 2008, and Wednesday, September 10, 2008. In order to give families an “adjustment week” to transition from summer to school schedules, the Religious Education Program will begin a week later than Loudoun County Public Schools.
• Espiritus Youth Group will begin on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for Grades 9-12.
