OLOH Youth Ministry - Volunteer Info
Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours, yours are the eyes through which Christ's compassion is to look out to the earth, yours are the feet by which He is to go about doing good, and yours are the hands by which He is to bless us now. -St Teresa of Avila

Do you feel called to share you time and talent in Youth Ministry?

Adult Volunteers:

In order to have a successful Youth Ministry program, we need great volunteers. I welcome your participation in the 2008-2009 year whether you are newly inspired to volunteer or have worked with Ed in the past.

You can be a part of Youth Ministry in a variety of ways including (but not limited to):

  • Taking an Adult Leadership role
  • Driving/chaperoning social or service trips
  • Be a part of the Planning Team
  • Office assistance
  • Praying for the ministry and teens on a regular basis

Please fill out the below interest form and return it to me.

Teen Peer Ministers:

We have two groups of Peer Ministers:

  • High school ministers meet once a month to plan and give input for youth group meetings, as well as to pray together and continue learning how to be better ministers. They also commit to coming to most Wednesday night and Sunday (1st and 3rd) youth groups and taking a leadership role there.
  • Ministers to the junior high are invited to one or more junior high meetings a month, including 1st Friday youth group. Their role is to be models for the JH teens, to encourage them in activities and prayer.
